Daughter of Capt. John Bowne (of William) & Lydia Holmes 1638–1693 (of Obadiah).

Her birth year suggested as 1688, was not likely as her father had died four years earlier. Thanks to contributor, Wrdsrus (46860104), likely all of her siblings were born in the late 1660's. (corrected year to 1666).
In addition a document showing that her mother transferred property to her in 1684, assuming she was at least 18 at that time, that would put her birth in the 1666 range. (photo). Thank you to 46860104.

Per This Old Monmouth of Ours, William Horner, pg.89. Horner stated:
William Hartshorne, son of Richard married three times.
His first wife, Catherine Bowne, daughter of Capt. John and Lydia (Holmes) Bowne, born March 22, 1688 and died c. 1712. By her (Catherine Bowne), he (William Hartshorne II) was father of three children; William (15) Margaret 16) and Richard (17.) b. 1708 and d. 1736, he perished at sea, unmarried.

Additional info on their daughter Margaret & son William:
Margaret Hartshorne b, Nov 3, 1704-died? married in 1703, to William Mott 1699-1760, son of Gershom Mott. She does not have a memorial. Stillwell wrote Margaret died 1745, she was named on William Mott will of 1760.
Their kids include;
1) Capt. John Mott 1734-1804, was Captain in the 1st Hunterdon Regiment of the New Jersey Militia and served as a guide to General George Washington and the Revolutionary War army on the march down along the Delaware River prior to the Battle of Trenton. MEMORIAL ID 63614948.
2) Asher Mott, 1698-1783 m. Ann Biles (1745-1779) in 1769. 3). Gersham Mott, records are not clear.

William Hartshorne III, son of William and Catherine does not appear to have a memorial. B. Oct 31, 1709 and died in 1746. He married Jan 1, 1742 to Mary Sands Reid, daughter of Col. John Reid and Mary Sands. Their children: 1) Katherine and 2) Richard.
