Thomas C. Archer dies Yesterday

South Side Resident Dies Friday After an Illness of But a Few Days

Thomas C. Archer, 53, died Friday afternoon at his home in Camden avenue, South Side, after an illness of a few days. He had seamed to be improving when he suddenly took a relapse. Mr. Archer had been a resident of Wood County for 26 years and was widely known coming here from Jackson county where he was born.

He was employed by the Rig and Reel company and formerly had been employed at the Donovan Boiler Works. Mr. Archer was a member of the Epworth M. E., South, church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary V. Archer; one son, Roy of South Dakota; three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Spreling, at home; Mrs. F. W. Hartleben of this city, and Margaret, at home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete but the services will be held from the Big Tygart Methodist church with Rev. C. H. Kelly, Rev A. R. Young and Rev., Allen Ball in charge. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
