Mrs. Berniece Maxine McDannald, age 92 of Hermitage, passed away at Maristone of Providence on Friday, May 17, 2019. She had been a resident there for four years.

She was born in Green City, Missouri, to the late Thomas Adams and Hattie Beabout Adams. Berniece married Harold “Bill” McDannald on December 21, 1945. The couple lived in Ottumwa, Iowa for over fifty years. Berniece enjoyed gardening, canning vegetables, sewing, quilting, hunting, fishing, and crossword puzzles. She loved cooking for her family and spending time with them. She was a member of Generation Changers Church and loved the Lord.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold “Bill” McDannald; son, Dayton McDannald; six sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Frazier; granddaughter, Tammy Wagler (Jim); grandson, Brent Frazier (Cynthia); five great grandchildren, Caleb Wagler, Joshua Wagler, Zachary Wagler, Troy Frazier and Linley Frazier; and several nieces and nephews.

The Celebration of Life will be at Generation Changers Church, 224 Stewarts Ferry Pike, Nashville, Tennessee, on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 11:30 am with Pastor Jerry Smith and Pastors Barry Smith officiating. Visitation will be prior from 10:00 am until the time of service.

Interment will be at Pherigo Cemetery in Unionville, Missouri
