Pioneer Farmer Cotton Gin Buried Monday Afternoon
MEXIA, July 23, (Spl.) - Funeral service were held Monday for L.N. Riddle, 78, pioneer farmer of the Cotton Gin community, who died Sunday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Roy Ives, in Coolidge, after illness of several weeks.
Surviving are the widow and five sons and four daughters, Including J.N. Riddle, prominent merchant of Mexia. Rev. J.J. Creed, of Coolidge officiated at the funeral services assisted by Rev. Lester Bain of Teague. Burial was in the Oak Island cemetery.
