Lisa Carol Hansen passed away at her home in Underwood, Washington on July 23, 2012 at the age of 67. She was born April 7, 1945 in Janesville, Wisconsin to Elizabeth (Timm) and Earl Simpson. During her childhood, Lisa moved around a lot because of her father's job. She graduated from high school in Florida and moved to southern California in 1976. On December 31, 1977 she married James Hansen in Redondo Beach, California. Mrs. Hansen worked as a travel agent and enjoyed traveling. In 1982 she and her husband bought a home in Underwood and they split their time between homes in Washington and Arizona. Lisa loved sports and was a season ticket holder for the Los Angeles Kings hockey team. She was a crazy Green Bay Packers fan but also liked the Redskins and Dolphins. Lisa will be missed by her husband James of Underwood; children Cindy Dellalb of South Tahoe, California, Tim Hansen of Chico, California, Tom Hansen of San Pedro, California and Ted Hansen of Phoenix, Arizona; thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles. A celebration of Lisa's life will be held at the Stevenson Cemetery on Wednesday, August 22 at 10 a.m. Gardner Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
