August Benzel died at his home, 1008 Second Street, last Friday afternoon, September 25, 1903, aged 77 years. For the past 24 years he had been a resident of this city (Watertown, WI). Since April he has been confined to his bed. His wife Bertha, five sons and one daughter are left to mourn his loss. The funeral took place from his late residence on Sunday afternoon with interment in the Moravian cemetery.
