Funeral services for Dan Mack Saxon, Sr., 85 of Chandler will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 10th at the Chandler First United Methodist Church with private burial to follow. Family visitation will be at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 on Thursday, May 9th.
Dan Mack was born on November 13th, 1933 to the late Reuben Elmo and Virginia McClain Saxon. Dan Mack died at his home on the morning of May 7th, 2019. He was a long-time employee of Texas Power and Light and a faithful member of Chandler First United Methodist Church. He loved giving quarters to the children of the church and loved his God, his family and his church. He will be missed by all, but we know he is at home with Jesus.
Dan Mack was preceded in death by 15 siblings.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Neva Mae (Mickey) Saxon, son, Dan Mack Saxon, Jr. and wife Tina of Tyler, Stephen Mark Saxon and wife Angie of Chandler and Susanna Ruth Claussen and husband Jimmy of Chandler. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Saxon, Ryan Saxon, Adam Dodson, Michael Magee, David Parker and Paul Parker.
