Sarah Elizabeth Fanning, born Sullivan Co. MO 3 June 1851, was the daughter of James and Mary (Franklin) George. Married R. Fanning 1 Sept. 1870. Four children born; Thomas J. , Mrs. G.W. Brumbaugh, and Allen Fanning. For a number of years she lived in Cora. She died March 11, 1916 in Sullivan Co., MO . Services conducted White Oak Church. Burial in cemetery back of the Church.
