‎ ‎ ‎ Harold L. Boyd, 94, of Nampa passed away Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006, at a local hospital in Nampa. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, at the Alsip & Persons Funeral Chapel, 404 10th Ave. S., Nampa.
‎ ‎ ‎ Harold L. Boyd was born on April 20, 1912, in Cordell, Okla. He moved with his family to Idaho in 1918 and the family settled in the Bowmont area in 1919. Harold married Dorothy M. Gross on Sept. 30, 1941, in Caldwell and they celebrated 65 years of marriage on Sept. 30 of this year.
‎ ‎ ‎ Following their marriage they farmed in the Bowmont area until 1976. In 1976 they moved to their home just outside of the Nampa city limits where they resided until recently when they moved into assisted living due to their health.
