Mrs. John Brabander Funeral Services In California Monday

Mrs. John Brabander, former Le Mars resident, died at her home in Los Angeles on Wednesday, October 30, after a year’s illness.

Mrs. Brabander, the former Anna Harms, was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred H. Harms, and was born in Plymouth county on March 28, 1899. She was 47 years of age, and has been a resident of California for the past four years.

She was married in Plymouth county to John Brabander, who with two children, Mildred and Wayne, survives her. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Angie Powell, of Los Angeles and one brother, John Harms of Grant township.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock in Bethany Lutheran church in Hollywood with burial in the Hollywood cemetery.

Those from LeMars who attended the last rites were John Harms, Mrs. Will Ludwigs, Mrs. Herman Renken and Herman Renken, Jr.
