UCON - Willard W. Wadsworth, 62, died here May 30, 1981 of a sudden illness.
He was born July 8, 1918 at Taylor to Joseph McCloy and Edna Stoddard Wadsworth. He attended Roberts and Fairview schools.
Willard married Arline Shurtliff February 9, 1937 at Idaho Falls and they were later divorced. He married Joyce Evelyn Birch on June 8, 1963 at Elko, Nevada and the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. She preceded him in death.
He was an Air Force veteran and served in the Korean War. He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic in Idaho Falls and Utah. He worked with Denning Well Drilling here. He had previously lived in Roy, Utah.
Willard was an elder in the LDS Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Carol Mansfield of Idaho Falls, Mrs. Irene Key of Walnut Creek, California, and Mrs. Chris Cook of Boise; a son, Ronald, Price, Utah; three brothers, Durant of Ogden, Utah, Irvan of Palisade, and Lyle of Rexburg; four sisters, Mrs. James (Helen) Guercio of Winnemucca, Nevada, and Mrs. Duane (Viola) Denning of Ucon; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Service will be Wednesday in Eckersell Memorial Chapel with Bishop Gene Burch officiating. Burial will be in the Taylor Cemetery.
