Evelyn Elsa (Bruemmer) Bobo September 22, 1937 ~ April 20, 2019
Evelyn Elsa Bobo, 81, of Russellville, died Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. The daughter of Henry and Bessie S. (Campbell) Bruemmer, she was born September 22, 1937, in Houston, TX. She married Thomas A. Bobo, Sr, on August 27, 1954, in Houston. She was a Controller & Data Processing Agent with A.E. Petsche. She and Tom operated a local business called “This Old House” for 16 years.

Evelyn loved to travel and spend time with her family, especially frequent visits to Petite Jean State Park. She was an excellent seamstress with cross-stitch and crochet, expressed her artistic creativity with tole painting, and excelled at cooking, especially her famous “Meatloaf, Macaroni & Cheese.” That was not to be outdone, however, with the terrific Thanksgiving meals she annually prepared for her family. She was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church and served on many committees and ministry activities, and developed her love for Scripture with the Lifelight Bible Study Group of the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Richard Davis Bobo; and Thomas A. Bobo, Jr., two sisters, Dorothy Bewley and Edna Telshow; and two brothers, Rudy Bruemmer and Paul Bruemmer.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Thomas Bobo, Sr.; her son, Kenneth Paul Bobo (Elisangla) of Coral Springs, FL; a daughter, Nancy Eileen Bedwell (Christopher) of Tucson, AZ; a sister, Irma Droske of Tulsa, OK; four grandchildren, Derrick Bobo (Jenny), Christopher Bobo, Leah Glasco (Josh), and Katy Day; five great grandchildren, Kadyn Bobo, Faith & Trinity Bobo, and Kayla & Kara Glasco; and her daughter-in-law, Jeanne Bobo of Russellville.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, April 25, 2019 at St. John's Lutheran Church with Rev. Wes Toncre officiating. Burial will be at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Lutherville, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 pm, on Thursday, at the church. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church,500 North Cumberland, Russellville, AR 72801.
