Catherine (Taffe) Andrescavage died peacefully Sunday, April 14, 2019. She was 92. Born in Bristol, Pa., a lifelong Bucks County resident, she was the beloved wife of the late Joseph F. Andrescavage for 67 years. She is survived by her devoted children, Joseph Andrescavage Jr. and his wife, Denise, Daniel Andrescavage and his wife, Debra, and Karen Jahoda and her husband, John. She was also the grandmother to four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Catherine was a graduate of Bristol High and met her husband, Joe, while both working at Philco in Croydon. After raising her family, Catherine went back to work at Strawbridge & Clothier for many years. Catherine was a gentle and kind person. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her greatest joy was those moments she shared with her husband and their family. Catherine enjoyed traveling, and made many lasting memories on family vacations and with her husband after retirement. In her last years, she enjoyed nothing better than going on day trips. Catherine was also an avid Pinochle player, enjoyed reading, watching the Phillies and was an active bowler until age 90.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 10 until 11 a.m. Thursday, April 18, at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe St., Bristol Borough, Pa. Private interment will follow in the Bristol Cemetery, Bristol, Pa.
