Daughter Is Buried
Clarissa S. Howard Hatch, 65, mother of Phoebe Arlene Hatch who was buried yesterday, died at the family residence shortly after her daughters funeral, 5:21 p. m. of a heart ailment.
She was born at Woods Cross, March 18, 1882, a daughter of James and Juliett Fackrell Howard.
She married Dec. 18, 1901, George Quincy Hatch, a farmer and livestock owner of Woods Cross.
A member of the South Bountiful ward, she was a past organist, a president of the Young Women's mutual improvement association, a Relief society teacher, a vice captain of the Eutaw camp of the DUP, a music teacher and a Sunday school teacher.
She is survived by her husband, one son Floyd Q. Hatch of Bountiful and two daughters, Mrs. Ralph Streeper of Centerville, and Mrs. Lewis G. Weathers, of Logan, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, and six sisters, Mrs. Juliett Wood, Woods Cross; Mrs. Matilda Johnson, Idaho Falls; Mrs. Maud Ludwick, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Lella Dana, Thayne, Wyo.; Mrs. Luella Davis, Salt Lake City, and Leona Arbuckle, Woods Cross.
Arrangements have been made for the funeral services for Clarissa S. Howard Hatch, for Monday at 1 p. m. in the South Bountiful ward chapel with Bishop Alma D. Eakle officiating.
Burial will be in the Bountiful city cemetery.
