James Ervin “Buddy” Marsh, age 89, of Trinity, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019 at his residence.

He was born April 7, 1930 in Crockett to parents, Hardrict Ervin Marsh and Vannie Mae Beard Marsh.

Buddy served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

He worked as an auto hauler for many years and attended River of Life Church in Trinity. Buddy also was a member of the Trinity VFW and Crockett American Legion.

Buddy was survived by his wife of 11 years, Jane Marsh of Trinity; sister, Mildred Gaskin of North Zulch; three stepchildren, Donald Durbin of Goodrich, Janna Goodman and husband, Wesley of Goodrich, Janet Durbin and fiancé, Scottie Glass of Trinity; fourteen grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hardrict and Vannie Marsh; daughter, Debra Marsh; sisters, Ethel Merrel, Leva Mae Chellete, Shirley Adamick; grandson, Hardy Stutts; brother, Robert L. Marsh; nephew, Jerry Wayne Adamick; great-nephew, David Adamick.

Graveside services for James Ervin “Buddy” Marsh will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2019 in the New Energy Cemetery with Dr. Tim Allen officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday April 14, 2019 in the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas, 66675-8517.
