Funeral services for Carrie Nell Watson will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview at 12pm with Rev. Kenneth Mills officiating. A visitation will be held on April 10th at Rader Funeral Home from 6~8pm. Carrie went to be with the Lord in the morning of April 6th in Arlington TX.
Carrie was born in Longview on November 11, 1945 to parents Bill and Jo Cairy. She was a stay-at-home mother a majority of her children’s lives; she began a career with the Spring Hill ISD, and then became the owner of Busy Bee’s Cleaning Services. When Carrie wasn’t busy running her business, she enjoyed traveling, camping at Lake O’ The Pines, making jewelry and other art and craft projects. What was most important in Carrie’s life was her family, and she got the honor of being a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Her husband of 50 years, Curtis Watson Jr., her parents, Bill and Jo Cairy, 2 sisters, and 3 brothers preceded her in death. Those left to cherish their memories of Carrie include her sons, Ernest and his wife Evelyn Watson, Shane and his wife Lacy Watson, Tony and his husband Paul Cathey; daughters, Wendy and her husband Mike Smith, Wendy and her husband Jeff Griffin; grandchildren Cody, Callie, Jordan, Hailey, Bubba, Breanna, Bailey, Karisa, Blake, Shelby, and Lincoln; 9 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Dottie Downs and husband Crash; multiple nieces and nephews, many lifelong friends, and her beloved dog, Lizzie.
