Felts, 72, were held Sunday,
February 8, 1998 at the Chapel of
Walker Funeral Home. Billy
Parkerson and David Wilson
officiated and burial was in
Plainview Cemetery in White
County.
Mr. Felts passed away on
Friday, February 6, 1998 at the
Baptist DeKalb Hospital in
Smithville of an extended illness.
He was a resident of Felts
Road in the Peeled Chestnut
Community of DeKalb County.
He was a retired wood craftsman,
a U.S. Army Veteran from WWII
and the Korean Conflict. He was
the son of the late Doc and Mary
Young Felts.
He was preceded in death by
son, Charles Felts; daughter-inlaw, Geraldine Felts; grandsons,
Chuck Felts and Ty Bohannon;
brothers, Charlie and Erbie Felts;
sisters, Clara Billings and
Elizabeth Adcock.
Survivors include wife, Hazel
Felts of Smithville; daughter,
Debbie Mullins of Smithville;
son, Harvey Felts of Smithville;
sisters, Hazel Adcock of
Smithville, Alice Pedigo, Ina
Graham, and Augusta Carman,
all of McMinnville.
Serving as pallbearers were
Jimmy Adcock, Jack Adcock,
Dwight Adcock, Roy Pedigo,
Rex Pedigo, and Kenneth Rice.
Walker Funeral Home in
Smithville was in charge of the
arrangements.
