SMITHVILLE -- Funeral services for Mary Alice Pedigo, 88, of Warren County will be held today at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Walker Funeral Home in Smithville. Burial will be in Whorton Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors today until the time of services.
Mrs. Pedigo died Fri., May 5, 2000, at Baptist DeKalb Hospital in Smithville.
She was born on Dec. 5, 1911, to the late Mary (Callie) Young Felts and H.C. "Doc" Felts, Sr. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Her family includes six sons, Ralph A. Pedigo of Chattanooga, Roy L. Pedigo of Smithville, Richard Pedigo of Seagoville, Texas, and Rex, Ronald M. and Repsie L. Pedigo, all of McMinnville; three dauhters Ruby Nell Pedigo Jones of McMinnville ,Rose Ada Pedigo Duncan of Chatham,Illinois and Renda Deloise Pedigo Lavin of Mayfield Kentucky; 23 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Lee Pedigo; three brothers, Charlie, Erbie and H.C., Jr. Felts; five sisters, Clara Billings, Elizabeth Adcock, Ina Graham ,Augusta Nora Carmen, Hazel Rowena Adcock ; and one grandson, Lewis Gilbert Jones.
