Rosemary L. Stark, 81, of N11391 Highway Z, Brownsville, died Sunday, Aug. 16, 1998, at Mayville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born May 13, 1917, in Dickens, Iowa, the daughter of John and Nora Tomlinson Carter.

On Nov. 14, 1937, she married Louis Stark in Owen.

Mrs. Stark was a graduate of Owen High School class of 1933, a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Lomira. She was a cook at various restaurants in the area, and retired from Amity Leather Products.

Survivors include two daughters, Zora (Gordon) Neitzel of Theresa, and Laurel Stark of Brownsville, one son, Jerry (Janice Stark of Brownsville, seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Beryl Jensen, of Port Huron, Mich.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and two brothers.

Services: Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Lomira. The Rev. Tom Morgan will officiate. Burial will be at Salem Cemetery, Lomira.

Visitation: From 11 a.m. to the time of services Tuesday at the church.

Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira, is handling arrangements.
