Louis Charles Stark, 74, of 356 Oakdale Drive, Brownsville, died Saturday, March 17, 1990, at his home.

He was born May 7, 1915, in Owen, Clark County, a son of Herman and Ana Panko Stark. On Nov. 214, 1937, he married Rosemary L. Carter in Owen.

Mr. Stark was a 1933 graduate of Owen High School and was a member of 4-H as a youth. He was employed as a farmer and carpenter. From 1965 until his retirement, he was a custodian for Mayville schools. He was a member of IOOF in Withee.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Zora Neitzel and her husband Gordon of Theresa, and Laurel Stark of Brownsville; one son, Jerry and his wife Janice of Brownsville; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Martha Melbinger and her husband Arleigh of Brookfield, Ill., and Helen Cavaleri and her husband Joseph of Lady Lake, Fla. Preceding him in death were two brothers, Allen and Herman.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, Lomira. The Rev. Roger Clapp will officiate. Burial will be I Salem Cemetery, Lomira.

Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at Kietzer Funeral Home, Lomira, and Wednesday from noon to the hour of services at the church.

Memorials in his name may be directed to St Agnes Hospice Hope.
