I think Papa Adams made about a dollar a day while his kids were small. After they were grown, I think it was about 25,000 a year. I know he wasn't making much after his wreck in 1971. He and Granny threw papers when I was little, after they retired. I beleive Granny also worked in a grocery store for a little while after all the kids were married. I only remember the houses in Terrell and Tawakani. Daddy and Uncle Herbert built the house in Tawakani. so I know they were all grown when that happened. Terrell is where they lived when they passed. Papa passed away after a massive stroke in 1975
