Edna Fay Wright, age 94, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at her residence.

Edna was born the daughter of James Isaac and Lula Maude (Yoakum) Jackson on September 30, 1924, in Cowgill, Missouri.

She was a 1942 graduate of Braymer High School.

She was united in marriage to Lynn Alvin Wright on June 17, 1948, in Braymer, Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 30, 2009.

Edna was a member of the Braymer Methodist Church, Braymer, Missouri, where she was Sunday school teacher, a volunteer for vacation bible school and bereavement dinners.

She was a farm wife, and helped Lynn in the field. Edna enjoyed gardening, and always kept a large garden.

Survivors include two sons, two daughters, eleven grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lynn; grandson, Timothy Calton; two sisters, Willa Lee Arr and Revah Penfold; and one brother, Raymond Jackson.

Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at 11:00 a.m.

A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Friends may call at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Monday, April 1, 2019, from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m.

Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Tweedie-Murray American Legion Post 117 and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
