Mrs. Jonnie Burgess Dill, 51 years of age, Rt. 5, Double Springs Road, died Monday at home of self-inflicted gun shot wounds caused by several months illness, according to a statement by the family. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Fannie Marie McAbee Burgess.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 28 at Jennings & Ayers Chapel at 2 p.m with Joe Netherland officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, J. Thomas Dill, Sr., Murfreesboro; one son, James Thomas Dill Jr., Murfreesboro; one daughter, Lorraine Dill, Murfreesboro; one brother, Ernest Burgess Jr., Murfreesboro; seven sisters, Mrs. Burley Hayes, Mrs. Edd Bennett, Mrs. Dennis McDonald, Mrs. Charles Batey, all of Murfreesboro, Mrs. J. R. Lee Sr., Mrs. W. W. Lee, Sr. and Mrs. Kelly Lee, all of Smyrna.
