Obituary as read in the Freehold Transcript and the Monmouth Inquirer on January 31, 1957, p.3: Gary Towell, 14, of Belmar Park Estates, Glendola died Sunday night at Monmouth Memorial Hospital, Long Branch, where he had been a patient for five days. He had been in poor health for some time. He is survived by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Sterling Towell; three brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held this morning from Clayton & Son Funeral Home, Adelphia followed by interment at the Glendola Cemetery.
