Josefita L Valdez, 86, of Bernalillo for the last nine years and formerly of Cebolla died September 11, 2000.
She was an active member of the Bernalillo Senior Citizens Center and the San Antonio Ladies Group of Cebolla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gabriel Valdez Sr.; a daughter, Margaret V. Archuleta; a son, Guzman Valdez; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She is survived by her children, Benita Garcia and husband Jose C Garcia of La Mesilla, Odelia Garcia and husband Bernie of Tierra Amarilla, Gabriel Valdez Jr. and wife Margie of Albuquerque, and Felix Valdez and wife Lorraine of Bernalillo; 22 grandchildren; 32 greatgrandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
