Daniel Joseph Felcman, 61, of Katy, TX, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Memorial Hermann Hospital Texas Medical Center.

He is survived by his wife, Dianna Lyn Felcman; three children, Michael Joseph Felcman (wife, Nikki Felcman), Matthew James Felcman (wife, Lace Felcman), Sarah Ann McKain (husband, Andrew McKain); and 6 grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace Felcman, Eli Duane Felcman, Christine Olivia Felcman, Morgan Lyn Felcman, Quinn Joseph Felcman, and Thomas James Felcman.

Born in Wallis, TX to Frank and Josephine Felcman, he spent most of his adult life in Katy, TX. Daniel Felcman was an extremely passionate man; he lived for his faith, family, friends, and community. He was a very selfless man, always serving others and keeping himself busy on his land or at his parent’s farm in Wallis. He was currently serving as Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus at St. Bartholomew Apostolic Catholic Church. Over many years he led and participated in various KC events, including but not limited to the Church Bazaar, the Katy Rodeo, the Katy Rice Harvest Festival, First Responder Dinners, and many more. Daniel attended and graduated college from Texas A&M, beginning an Aggie dynasty for his family. He began his engineering career with Tidewater Compression in 1981, and was currently working at Archrock where he held various titles for 37 years. He loved playing with and teaching his grandkids, being and working outside, serving with the Knights of Columbus, and attending Mass.

The family will have a viewing starting at 12:30 pm on Thursday, October 12th, with a rosary to follow at 3:00 at St. Bartholomew Apostolic Catholic Church. There will be fellowship after the rosary from 4-6 at the Family Life Center at St. Bartholomew’s. The funeral service for Daniel Felcman is Friday, October 13, 2017, at 11:00 am at St. Bartholomew Apostolic Catholic Church, followed by a reception at St. Bartholomew’s. After the reception will be the burial at Guardian Angel Catholic Church Cemetery in Wallis, TX.
