Mrs. Catherine Skrutski, 1528 Jackson St., died Monday at the Laurel Hill Nursing Home, Dunmore, after an illness. Her husband, William, died in 1970.

Born in Dunmore, daughter of the late James and Catherine Naughton McGettigan, she was a member of St. Patrick's Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. Mrs. Skrutski was graduated from St. Patrick's High School.

Surviving are a daughter, Joan Marie, at home; four sons, William, James, and Anthony, at home; and Jerome, a member of the Air Force, stationed at McGuire Air Base, NJ; two sisters, Mrs. Daniel Garramone, Florida, and Mrs. John Bakaysa, Taylor; a brother, James, New York City, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Thursday from the Donohue Funeral Home, 303 S. Main Ave., with Mass in St. Patrick's Church at 9 a.m. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery. Viewing, tonight, 7 to 9, and Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
