Mildred Ann Rogers, age 95, passed away March 13, 2019, at Amelia Place.
Mildred was born August 23, 1923, in Audubon, Iowa, to the late Mads and Christine (Rattenborg) Hansen and graduated from Audubon High in 1941. She worked for Sears for 13 years and Telco for 4 years.
Mildred is a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church and is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Steven Jewell (Vietnam) and Michael Jewell; husband, James Rogers; sisters, Helen Kirk and Kathy Hutchens.
Survivors include daughters, Merridy (Michel) Rogers, of Baltimore, Md., Elisse (Nile) Fiala, of Johnston, Iowa; sons, Eric Rogers, Scott Rogers; daughters- in-law, Jane Rogers, all of Council Bluffs, Mary Jewell; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Bernice Bro, of Ames, Iowa.
Visitation, Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m., at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Funeral service, Monday, 10:30 a.m., Emanuel Lutheran Church. Interment, Memorial Park Cemetery, with a luncheon to follow back at the church. Memorials are suggested to Emanuel Lutheran Church.
