Mr. Cameron served in the U.S. Army, Vietnam. He was a retired shipper from Weirton Steel. Jim was a member of the New Manchester Christian Church. He also held memberships with the Chester VFW, Masonic Lodge #22, Halls Hunting Club, Elks of Weirton and the Hancock County Sportsman’s Club.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Leonard Cameron.
Surviving are his devoted wife; two sons; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lois (William) Robb of New Manchester.
Visitation is Sunday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the Nixon Funeral Home, Newell, WV, where funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2019.
Interment will follow in Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens, Newell, WV, where the Masonic Lodge will conduct services.
