The Wyandotte Gazette gives the following particulars of the death of Mrs. Emma Converse Hallett, wife of J. L. Hallett, and daughter of L. P. Converse, of Wyandotte, died very suddenly at her home in Iowa, one day last week, and remains were brought to Wyandotte for burial, the funeral services taking place at the residence of her parents, on Wednesday, the 12th inst. Her disease was some kind of throat difficulty, resempling croup, and in three hours after having prepared supper for her family she was a corpse.
Mrs. Hallett was the eldest daughter of Mr. Converse. She was a lady of fine accomplishments; was of a sweet and amiable disposition, and leaves a large circle of friends, besides a fond husband, loving children, parents, and brothers and sisters to mourn her loss.
