Funeral services for Mrs. Elmer Rutherford, 72, 1514 E. Oak Street, New Albany, were held today at Seabrook Funeral Home, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. She died Friday at Lincoln Hills Nursing Home.
Mrs. Rutherford was the former Bertha E. Badger, a native of Jeffersonville, Indiana. She was an employee of F.W. Woolworth Company. Sisters:
Mrs. Nina Ang, Sellersburg, Indiana, Mrs. Dorothy Backherms, Wood Dale, Ill., and Mrs. Juanita Greenway, Dayton, Ohio. and three brothers, Morgan, Ernest & Garland Badger.
