Mrs. Inez Dees Posey, 88, of Sylvester died Friday December 15, 2017 at Pruitt Health in Sylvester.
Thee funeral service was held at 11:00 AM on Thursday December 21, 2017 at Northside Baptist Church with interment in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. J. Cooper, Rev. M. Carter and Rev. J. Cargle officiated.
Mrs. Posey was born on July 23, 1929 in Worth County to the late John Henry Dees, Sr. and Josephine Massey Dees. She had lived in Worth County all of her life and was a retired School Bus Driver with the Worth County Board of Education. Mrs. Posey enjoyed cooking, baking cakes, word puzzles and watching westerns. She was a Charter Member of Northside Baptist Church and the OPEL Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her sons, Wayne of Sylvester; Mike of Tucson, AZ. and Gary of Sylvester; son-in-law, Donald of Chauncey, GA; five grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Posey was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Harry E. Posey on August 8, 2012; a daughter, Debbie Posey McEntyre on June 27, 2012; brothers, Charles Dees, John Dees and Everette Dees.
Banks Funeral Home in Sylvester was in charge of arrangements.
