Native of Cherokee County; widow of Dewitt Brown; daughter of the late James and Ollie Holland Tollison.
Member of Northside Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Faye Brown Thornton and July Brown Rollins; four sons, Ronald, David, Wayne and Robert Brown; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Floyd's North Church Chapel, on Tuesday, September 19, 1995.
Graveside services were held at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 20, 1995 at Sunset Memorial Park conducted by the Rev. Henry Cooley.
