Myrtle Jane Atkinson was the daughter of James Isaac Atkinson and Hannah Pauline (Brown) Atkinson, born at the family home in what is now Woods Cross, Utah. She married (1) Ira Reed Rudy 28 Apr 1904 in Salt Lake County. They were the parents of six children before they were divorced before 1926. She married (2) John H. Roper 19 Sep 1926 in Slat Lake City. Her death certificate specifies that she was buried in the Bountiful City Cemetery (Bountiful Memorial Park). Utah Certificate of Death State File No. 60 18 0773.
