In 1841 he was living with his wife Ann in Pimlico. Hi wife was at least seven years older than him and they just had a servant living with them.
His will reveals that his home address was Belgrave Cottage in Pimlico and that he had recently purchased freehold property in Frimley from James Wood, all of which was left to his widow Ann Blackwell. There were no children mentioned.
The property was Surrey House on the corner of London Road and The Maultway (SRO 361/44) purchased from James Wood in 1845.
He died on the 10th of June 1848 and was buried at St Peter’s 17th June 1848 aged 57.
