Death Claims Respected Howard County Citizen
Paul Madsen, aged 60 years a prominent farmer, living two miles west of Dannebrog passed away Wednesday after suffering several months. He had but recently returned from Omaha where he had been seeking relief but his lungs were in such a condition that little could be done. He had a severe attack of the flu last winter and never seemed to gain in strength sufficient to fight off the disease which had settled in his lungs. Mr Madsen's wife preceded him in death several years ago, but he leaves three sons and three daughters, all living in and near Dannebrog. He was an upright Christian gentleman, a member of the Baptist Church and a frugal, hardworking man. He will be greatly missed in that community
