Dorothy, or Dot as she liked to be called, was a member of the First Baptist Church of Orange Park. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herley Edward Dix and her three brothers: Melvin Eskew, Roy Eskew and William Eskew.
She is survived by her sister, Louise Eskew Babb and her daughter Cynthia Freadhoff of Orlando Florida and her son, Steven Dix (Stephanie Dale) of Atlantic Beach Florida and four grandchildren: Kendra Dix of Jacksonville Florida, Eric Freadhoff of Orlando Florida, Samantha Laski (Jeff) from Dubai UAE and Bobby Dale, Jacksonville Florida. One great grandchild, Chester Freadhoff, Orlando Florida.
Family will receive family and friends on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 10:00 to 11:00 am at Jacksonville Memory Gardens at 111 Blanding Boulevard, Orange Park, Florida for visitation and a 11:30 am graveside service immediately following. The family will also have a reception following the graveside service.
