Mr. Verrette was a life resident of the Syracuse area. He was employed more than 30 years with New York Telephone Co.
Mr. Verrette was a communicant of St. Matthew's Church, East Syracuse, and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He was a former member of the Pastime Athletic Club and the Updowntowners.
Surviving are two sons, Donald M. and Dennis L.. both of California; a daughter, Denise M. Verrette, of Syracuse; his mother, Gertrude Verrette of Syracuse; a brother, David E. of East Syracuse; two sisters, Suzanne G. Crawford and Mary Ellen Burgess, both of East Syracuse; and several nieces and nephews.
