She was a native and lifelong resident of Waycross where she graduated from Waycross High School. Janette was a loving homemaker and a devoted member of First Assembly of God.
Janette is preceded in death by her parents, Alred Joel Cason and Zella Mae Sedgwick Cason; and her husband, Walter C. “Walt” Phelan.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday (February 20, 2019) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made To The Nations, P.O. Box 426, Waycross, GA 31502.
