A homemaker and resident of Donaldsonville, she died at 6:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19, 2002, in Donaldsonville. She was 86 and a native of Brusly McCall. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Donaldsonville, from 8 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial at Ascension Catholic Church, Donaldsonville, at noon Wednesday, celebrated by the Rev. Joseph Roussel. Interment in Ascension Cemetery. Survived by a daughter, Ann Usey Dunn, Donaldsonville; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Cedric and Shirley Usey, Donaldsonville, and Daniel and Paula Usey, Baton Rouge; a sister, Mrs. Ernest (Alma) Carbo, Donaldsonville; and seven grandchildren, Lisa Usey Blanchard, David and Darryl Usey, Larry, Chad and Jason Dunn and Ryan Usey. Preceded in death by her husband, Lester Joseph Usey; parents, Joseph "Tep" and Josephine Carbo Dugas; two brothers, Sidney P. Dugas and Cedric Dugas; and a son-in-law, Billy Dunn.
