James Malton Jackson, 73, Susan Moore, died July 25, 1995, at Blount Memorial Hospital. Mr. Jackson was a retired employee of Republic Steel in Gadsden and a veteran of the U.S. army Air corps. He served on the Susan Moore Town Council from his election in 1982 when the municipality was incorporated until his resignation in early 1992. A native of Alabama, he was husband of Rogene Wright Jackson. He was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist church.
