Shirley June Acreman Sunday
Shirley June Acreman Sunday passed away on February 13, 2019 in her home in Montgomery, Texas. She was born on July 12, 1952 in Conroe, Texas to parents Cecil Mae (Wood) and David R. Acreman.
Shirley was preceded in death by her loving parents; son, Lee “Bubba” Burns; three brothers, Alton “Gene: Ugene Wood, Jearl “Budge” Lewis Acreman Sr., Roy Dean Acreman Sr.; sister, Mary Katherine Acreman; and stepsister, Brenda Newman. She is survived by her three children, April Christine Sunday and husband Everett Otis of Montgomery, Texas, Gary Lee Wood Jr. of Montgomery, Texas, Brandie Rechell Johnson and husband Robert Allen of Montgomery, Texas; two brothers, Gary Acreman of Lagrange, Texas, David Wayne Acreman; stepsister, Regina Van Veckhoven and husband Gerald of Point Blank, Texas; sixteen grandchildren, Stephanie Kunze, Savannah McCullough, Joshua Jordan, Brandon Perry, Joseph Perry and wife Alexis, Everett Sunday III, Kassi Mashaw, Dallas Mannisto, Danny Mannisto, Jacob Humphries, William Wood, Tyler Gardner, Christopher Gardner, Courney Chaney, Rylee Johnson, Addi Johnson; eleven great grandchildren; as well as a numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends and other family members. She was loved by all.
The family will receive friends for a visitation Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM; a funeral service on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel at McNutt Funeral Home; with a burial to follow at Conroe Memorial Park, 1703 Porter Rd., Conroe, Texas 77301.
