Alene Greenhaw, age 80 of Vendor, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 in Jasper, AR.

The daughter of T.J. and Ethel (Eddings) Fiveash was born on March 25, 1938 in Hasty.

Alene was a homemaker and lived in Newton County most of her life. She was a Christian and enjoyed spending time on her farm and picnicking on the Buffalo River. She loved her kids and grandkids and enjoyed attending their activities.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eldon Harold Greenhaw; and a sister, Florene Smith.

Survivors include her children, Roger (Sherry) Greenhaw, of Bass, Nelson (Rita) Greenhaw, of Vendor, Vivian (Ricky) Campbell, of Deer; Theshia (John) Crow, of Harrison, Rebecca (Bobby) Raulston, of Jasper, and Roy (Sheena) Greenhaw, of Harrison; brothers, Art (Judy) Fiveash, Bruce Fiveash, and Luther (Zona) Fiveash; brothers-in-laws, Cornelius Smith and Dale (Vickie) Greenhaw; sister-in-law, Louella (Harold) Hefley; 11grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 12 at Holt Memorial Chapel from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Graveside service is Wednesday, February 13 at 10:00 a.m. at Carver Cemetery in Hasty. Roger Greenhaw will officiate. Pallbearers are Gary Smith, Tommy Fiveash, Brent Raulston, Trenton Royce, Kevin McCutcheon, and Kevin Lafollette. Honorary pallbearers include Gentry Greenhaw, Staff and residents at Newton County Nursing Home, Joe Holt, Jr., Robbie Flud, and Linda Holt.
