According to the headstone, her father, Richard, died in 1895 and she was born in 1899 or 1900. Either the dates are wrong somewhere or else Richard is not her father. I think Richard's date of death needs to be verified. His date of death is more likely to be late 1899 or early 1900 (prior to the June 11, 1900 Census) and he died while his wife was pregnant.
Gertrude is not listed on the 1900 Census with the family so I believe she was born in 1900, after the 1900 Census was taken. Her brother was the baby on the 1900 Census so I think he was born in 1899.
She is listed as "Gertha" on the 1910 Census.
