Found in The State 17 July 1968: Lish U. Sullivan, 65, of 735 Maryland St., died Monday in Greenville. Formerly of Hampton County, Mr. Sullivan had lived in Columbia for the past 44 years. He was the son of the late Richard and Rebecca Hughes Sullivan and the husband of the late Etta Fields Sullivan. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Thompson Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. J. C. Hunicutt. Burial will be in Rock Hill Family Cemetery in Brunson. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Mattie Koon, Ora Clayburn, Vera Martin, all of Columbia, and Mrs. Bethel Lee Koon of West Columbia; three sons, Floyd W. Sullivan of Columbia, Johnny Sullivan of Greenville and Ulysses Sullivan of West Columbia and three sisters, Mrs. Talula Vaughn of Columbia, Mrs. Nevada Whitlock of Augusta, Ga., and Mrs. Gertha Green of Decatur, Ga.
