WILLIS W. HEWIG
KIRBY — Willis W. Hewig, 69, of Kirby, died Thursday, March 9, 1995.
He was born Jan. 17, 1926, to the late Willie P. and Hettye Herder Hewig. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired from civil service at Randolph A.F.B. He married the former Betty Lou Isabell in 1962 who died Dec. 18, 1964. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 182 of Hochheim and lifetime member of VFW Post 2059 of Kirby.
Survivors: sisters, Irma Nolley of Houston, Mildred Seidenberger of Shiner and Irene McLeroy of Kirby.
Preceded in death by wife; parents; brothers, Earl E. Hewig and Roy Hewig; and three infant brothers.
Visitation: 1-9 p.m. today, Buffington Funeral Home, Shiner; 9 a.m.-noon, Saturday, Colonial Funeral Home, Universal City.
Services: noon Saturday, Colonial Funeral Home chapel, the Rev. Virgil Ganz officiating.
Burial: Mission South Burial Park with Masonic services and Naval honors, Colonial Funeral Home, Universal City, (210) 658-7037.
