Louis, 86, died Shawnee Manor Nursing Home.

He was the son of Von and Jenny (Fisher) Fitzgerald. On Jan 19, 1952, he married Joan Winks, who survived him.

Surviving are two sons: Michael L. (Sue), Lima, and Vaughn Eugene (Dianna) Fitzgerald, Corona, CA; a daughter, Karen Sue Wallace, Indianapolis, IN; three brothers: Delmer, Larry and Bruce Fitzgerald; two sisters: Katherine Kimerly and Florence Cole; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Griffith; and thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a daughter and sister linked below; a granddaughter; eight brothers: Kenneth, Leonard, Donald, David, Richard, Robert, Thomas and Roy Fitzgerald; and a brother-in-law, Robert Winks.

Retired in 1993 from the Pennsylvania Railroad after 47 years of service, he was a member of the Pennsylvania Railroad Retirement Club, Loyal Order of Moose Lima Lodge #199 and he enjoyed bowling, gardening and pitching horseshoes. He loved spending time with his family and traveling to California to visit his son.

Services were at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Eastside Chapel, with Pastor Megan Croy officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
