SARA F. (SALLY) HOLLISTER
ITHACA - Sara F. (Sally) Hollister, 87, of Ithaca, passed away Monday, February 14, 2005, at the Groton Nursing Home. She was born in Roanoke, VA.
Sara was one of ten sisters and a brother. Two sisters survive her, living in Florida. She was also predeceased by her husband, George Hollister Jr. (November 10, 2004).
She is survived by her children, Clarence "Pete" (Shirley) Nero, and Joyce (Arthur Sr.) McLaughlin; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; also "special" grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
At Sara's request there will not be any public services. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Burial in East Lawn Cemetery will be delayed until spring.
