Mrs. H.H. Porch.
Ada Sexton, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Sexton, was born July 10th, 1884, in Augusta, Kansas. She attended the grade schools here, then completed her High School education in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, graduating with honor in the class of 1902.
Ada was married October 10, 1904 to Homer H. Porch of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. They resided in Eureka, several years, then moved to Leslie, Arkansas, which place has been their home for over a year.
Ada has been in poor health for several years but she has bourne her afflictions with courage and fortitude. Three weeks ago, she was taken from her home in Leslie, to Wichita, for treatment. For a time, it was thought she was improving, but two days ago, pneumonia set in, which ended her life at ten o'clock Friday night, Feb. 16.
Two little girls, Florain, age six and Mabel Louise, age four are left without a mother's tender love and guidence.
As a girl, Ada was winning and lovable. She was a little mother in administering to those who were suffering in the home. These qualities, later, developed her into beautiful young womanhood, then into an ideal mother.
The husband and two children, the parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. Sexton, and two sisters, Mrs. J.P. Broadstone, of Des Moines, Iowa and Mrs. Jas. G. Durham of Douglass, are left to mourn.
The funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon from the Methodist church at 2:20 o'clock.
