Dora was born in Pike County, Kentucky the daughter of the late John Fields and the late Dixie Fields. Other than her Parents, Dora was also preceded in death by her Husband, Sterling Akers; One Son, Scotty “Michael” Akers; One Grandson, Caleb Andrew Minks.

The Interment will follow in the Akers Family Cemetery located at Stormking, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Sunday from 11:00 till 12:00 P.M.
